When strolling along the central street of Via Matteotti, in the heart of the City of Flowers, among numerous shops, lights and colours, one is inevitably 'attracted' by the shop windows of AnnaMode, an atelier that is now an institution not only in Sanremo and along the Riviera, but also in Monaco and on the Cote d'Azur.
Owned by the Giacon family, AnnaMode in the last forty years has been a synonym of elegance, uniqueness, prestige, the only boutique along the Riviera that offers its customers the most famous labels of Italian and international fashion houses. It all started way back in the '50s when 14-year-old Anna Agnelli sold fabric scraps at half price in the open-air markets of this province.

In 1956 Anna opened a shop in Piazza Eroi Sanremesi together with her husband Renato Giacon; in 1960 they moved to Via Matteotti and it is from here that this 'business' started flourishing and today covers an exhibition area of more than 1000 m2 with over 12 shop windows, a renowned name with a large number of clients. At the basis of this success, attained with perseverance and the desire to work, is the whole Giacon family, united by a passion for beautiful clothes. Anna and Renato are now supported by their sons Romeo and Flavio and their daughters-in-law Alda and Maria Pia who with great enthusiasm and professionalism work day after day to offer their customers the opportunity to choose among the most beautiful haute couture articles by Armani, Missoni, Versace, Ferrè, Valentino and other renowned world fashion designers.
The owners focus their attention on a direct contact with their customers and meet the needs even of the most demanding visitor; over 30 courteous, attentive assistants; the quality and uniqueness of its articles, selected one by one by the Giacons, characterise AnnaMode, together with other substantial aspects, resulting from a winning entrepreneurial mentality. This show-room, that hosts the most selected lines of world fashion, is characterised by a cosmopolitan atmosphere, united by a constant search for traditional manufacturing of textures, fabrics and cuts; every article selected by Anna, Alda and MariaPia is creative, trendy and perfectly manufactured.

Originally intended for women (articles by over 100 designers are on show), AnnaMode in the course of time also approached man's fashion, by devoting to it the whole first floor where over 40 collections are displayed. A wide choice of fur coats is also available, including the Fendi collections, exclusively found here for the whole Riviera, and the accessories department is gradually being expanded. There is also a well-stocked jeans and sport line, for more dynamic customers who want to be elegant on every occasion.

AnnaMode offers a total look, customers may follow the trend and philosophy of their preferred fashion designer, but they may also mix genres and styles to create a personal, original glamour.
